The Friends of Del Norte work to protect the environment throughout Del Norte County.

We have enjoyed many successes in our 35 years and, pursuant to our Mission Statement, we are committed to addressing new environmental concerns as and when they arise.

Our goals include maintaining and broadening existing conservation, as needed, of:

• The Smith River
• Lake Earl
• Riparian habitat and wetlands throughout Del Norte County
